Description

Pachypodium, also known as the Madagascar Palm, is a succulent plant native to Africa and Madagascar. Despite its common name, it is not a true palm. It has a thick, spiny trunk and beautiful, glossy leaves. It produces clusters of bright yellow flowers in the summer.

Suggested Uses

It is an excellent choice for a houseplant or for growing in a tropical or subtropical garden. It can also be used in xeriscaping, a landscaping method that minimizes water use.
