1. What is the RedCrocus 100% Guarantee?
We offer a 100% unconditional guarantee. If you are not satisfied, we will reship or refund immediately. We want you happy and be our continued customer.
2. Will my plant arrive in good condition?
- Absolutely. Plants are packed securely to protect the pots and foliage during transit. Each order is shipped in a specially designed protective box to prevent shifting or damage. A tracking number will be provided once your order ships. It's normal for plants to look a little tired after their journey—most bounce back quickly with proper care. If your plant arrives damaged or you're concerned about its condition, please contact us within 36 hours and include a photo - we’ll make it right.
3. Where all do you ship to?
At present we ship to all the 48 contiguous States in the US. We currently do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.
4. How old are the plants when shipped? What size are the plants when shipped?
We only offer thriving full grown plants - not cuttings or bare roots. Small annuals and perennials can be 4-6 months old. The larger plants, bushes or trees can be a few seasons old. The size of the plants are specified by the pot size they are shipped in. These are found in the product title as well as in the item details of the plant page. All of our plants come from reputed growers and nurseries in the area. The cost would vary based on the pot size. eg: A plant in a quart size pot is smaller and hence cheaper than the same plant in a 3 gallon pot which is much bigger and well established, hence costs more. For the pot sizes we use please see the page Pot Sizes – RedCrocus
5. What is a Perennial and what is an Annual?
A perennial is a plant that will live multiple growing seasons unlike an annual which grows, sets seed, and dies all in one season. The perennial's flowering time is not as long as an annual because the plant must take time out to gather enough strength to overwinter. An annual may flower multiple times during the same season if you deadhead/cut spent blooms before they grow to become seeds.
6. How long will it take to receive my order?
You will receive your order within 7-14 days of ordering. To prevent the plant boxes sitting in the shippers' warehouses during weekends, we ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays. This ensures that the plants reach their destination before the weekend. If you have specific questions or want to change the shipping dates, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. We will email you the tracking number as soon as we are ready to ship.
7. My plants just arrived. What should I do now?
Open the box, unpack the plants, and place the plants in a shady spot, and water them thoroughly. They should perk up overnight if looking wilted. Let them catch their breath for a day or two, then plant them in the ground, again watering thoroughly. Plants can actually be maintained in their pots for several days, just keep them moist and in dappled light. Any questions, just give us a call.
8. Can you procure a particular plant variety we are looking for?
We do our best to represent each plant accurately, but sizes and appearance may vary depending on the season and growth stage. The picture is just an indicator of how a mature plant will look in various settings to provide you design idea
9. Will the plant look like the photo?
The picture is just an indicator of how a mature plant will look in various settings to provide you design ideas, While we strive that the variety you ordered is the one that reaches you, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that it will look exactly like that in the profile pics. The foliage color of many varieties can change with light and soil conditions as they grow. But one thing, we can assure you is - you will never be disappointed by your purchase
