Syngonium — Arrowhead Neon Pink
Vibrant, blush-pink arrowhead leaves that trail or climb with ease.
Description
Syngonium — Arrowhead Neon Pink is a striking pink selection of Syngonium podophyllum valued for its luminous, neon-blush foliage. Juvenile leaves emerge arrow-shaped in shades of rosy pink with soft green veining; with age and stronger light, leaves become larger and may develop subtle lobing. This versatile aroid can be grown compact and bushy with regular pinching, or allowed to trail from shelves and hanging baskets, or climb a moss pole for larger leaves and richer color. A forgiving, low-maintenance houseplant that thrives in bright, indirect light and moderate humidity.

Care Tips
-
Planting InstructionsChoose a pot with drainage 1–2 in (2.5–5 cm) wider than the current root ball. Set the crown at the same depth as the nursery pot. For climbing growth, insert a moss pole at planting time.
-
Soil MoistureWater when the top 1–2 in (2.5–5 cm) of mix feels dry. Keep evenly moist but never soggy; reduce frequency in winter.
-
Soil TypeAiry, well-draining aroid mix: 40% high-quality peat or coco + 30% perlite/pumice + 20% fine orchid bark + 10% compost or worm castings.
-
HumidityPrefers 50–70% RH. Tolerates average home humidity; benefits from pebble trays or grouping with other plants.
-
Pruning InstructionsPinch or tip-prune to encourage a fuller habit. Trim long vines as desired; propagate from 2–3 node cuttings in water or moist mix.
-
Winter CareKeep above 60°F (16°C); protect from drafts. Reduce watering and hold fertilizer. Provide brightest possible indirect light.
-
Planting DepthSet at original soil line. For cuttings, bury one node and keep one node/leaf above the surface for best rooting.
-
FertilizationFeed every 4–6 weeks in spring–summer with a balanced, dilute (¼–½ strength) liquid fertilizer or apply a gentle slow-release at repotting.
-
Special CareRotate monthly for even growth; wipe leaves to remove dust; provide a pole to size up leaves; monitor for spider mites/mealybugs and treat promptly.
Tip: If new leaves emerge more green than pink, increase bright, indirect light and avoid overfertilizing.
Always verify pet safety before placement. All care guidance reflects typical needs of Syngonium podophyllum pink cultivars.
