Description
A miniature evergreen euonymus forming a dense, creeping mat of tiny glossy leaves. Stems root as they spread, softly draping over edges and filling gaps between stones. In cold weather, foliage can take on bronze tones. Inconspicuous blooms; grown primarily for its fine-textured, year-round foliage.
Suggested Uses
Perfect as a small-scale groundcover, between stepping stones, in rock and alpine gardens, troughs and containers, over walls, and as an edging or underplanting for shrubs and dwarf conifers.

Soil Moisture: Keep evenly moist during establishment; afterward, allow the top 1–2 in. to dry between waterings (moderately drought tolerant once established). -
Soil Type: Well-drained loam or sandy soil; adaptable to slightly acidic to slightly alkaline (pH ~6.0–7.5). -
Humidity: Average; provide good air circulation to reduce powdery mildew risk. -
Pruning Instructions: Shear lightly in late winter or after spring flush to maintain a tidy mat; trim runners to contain spread; remove vertical/climbing shoots if groundcover is desired. -
Winter Care: Very hardy; mulch the first winter in cold regions; avoid waterlogged soils; foliage may bronze in exposed wind/sun. -
Planting Depth: Set crown level with the soil surface; do not bury stems or cover leaves with mulch. -
Fertilization: Apply a light dose of balanced, slow-release fertilizer or compost in spring; avoid excessive nitrogen to prevent lank growth. -
Special Care: Monitor for euonymus scale and mildew; treat scale with dormant-season horticultural oil if needed. Pin down runners to speed rooting and coverage.
