Succulent- Aeonium Kiwi

Succulent classic

Color-shifting rosettes with lime, cream, and pink edges; a compact, container-ready Aeonium that shines in bright light.

Description

Aeonium ‘Kiwi’ forms neat, branching clusters of spoon-shaped leaves in tight rosettes. Variegation ranges from lime-green to golden cream, often flushing rose-pink along the margins, especially with bright light and cool nights. Unlike many succulents, Aeoniums grow most actively in the cooler months (fall through spring) and can go semi-dormant in peak summer heat. Rosettes that flower are monocarpic, but the plant offsets freely to maintain a tidy, mounding habit ideal for containers and rockery accents.

Name notes: Listed here as “Succulent- Aeonium Kiwi”; botanically recognized as Aeonium haworthii ‘Kiwi’.

  • soil moisture iconSoil MoistureWater deeply, then allow 2/3 to all of the mix to dry before watering again. Reduce in summer dormancy and in winter; never let sit in water.

  • humidity iconHumidityLow to average household humidity (25–50%). Provide airflow; avoid misting into the rosette to prevent rot.
  • pruning iconPruning InstructionsRemove spent flower stalks and dried lower leaves. Pinch or cut stems to shape and encourage branching; re-root healthy cuttings.
  • winter care iconWinter CareProtect from frost; overwinter indoors where freezes occur. Bright light, cool room (50–60°F), and sparing water are ideal.
